Sony Allow Gamers to Play PS4 Cross Platforms
Good news for PS4 fans, Sony announced if users can play with other console users, namely Xbox, Nintendo, PC, Mac and mobile devices.
Reporting from the Newshub page , Thursday (09/27/2018), Fortnite is the first game that will allow the PS4 to play cross, namely in the beta version that has been launched.
The boss of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), John Kodera announced the company’s direction for significant requests in its blog posts. “After a comprehensive evaluation process, SIE has identified a pathway to support cross-platform features to choose third-party content,” Kodera said.
He added, “This is a major policy change for SIE, and we are now in the planning process throughout the organization to support this change. We realize that PS4 players have been waiting for this update and we appreciate the patience of the community “.
Previously the PS4 was the last platform to block cross games, because its competitors were all moving to allow cross games. This triggered a reaction of fan protests earlier this year.
