Epic kicked off season 6 Fortnite this week by releasing update 6.0 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile. As expected, the update made some major changes to the battle royale game by introducing several new weapons.
In addition, changes also occur at map locations above the extensive list and prizes that can be opened with Season 6 Battle Pass. However, players may notice that some popular weapons are no longer available.
Now there is a notification about the game that a bug has resulted in the new Shadow Stones item being temporarily removed. As part of update 6.0, a number of weapons have been transferred to the “vault”.
Reported by Game Spot, Epic periodically deletes items from the game to further improve or create new spaces. But this time, the developer has jumped over the cache of weapons that are bigger than usual.
In particular, Epic has removed Impulse Grenade items, Suppressed Submachine Guns, Light Machine Guns, Bouncers, and Remote Explosives.
This means you can no longer find one of these weapons while playing Battle Royale. Items can be found again in the game later on.
Epic has said that items can be added back to the arsenal in the future, but for now, you won’t find anything.
Furthermore, Epic notes that weapons will still be available in Playground mode. Epic also makes tweaks to several other weapons namely, the Double Barrel Shotgun’s damage output has been reduced, while Grappler will now take into account the momentum when you use it on moving objects.
Epic has outlined all the other changes in the sticky notes on its website and there are lots of tools and other new items that you can get with Season 6 Battle Pass, like Pets.
You can see everything in the Season 6 gift gallery. You can also find a guide on how to complete the latest challenges in the season 6 Roundup Fortnite challenge.
