Riot Games has just announced it will release their flagship game, League of Legends (LoL) , to Android and iOS devices. Titled League of Legends: Wild Rift , Riot Games schedules the MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game to launch in 2020.
Interestingly, the company not only released League of Legends: Wild Rift for Android and iOS devices. Known, they also revealed that they would release the game on the console platform . Unfortunately, Riot Games does not mention what game console will be visited.
However, many gamers who believe in League of Legends: Wild Rift will slide into the Nintendo Switch console in addition to iOS and Android.
The news was strengthened by the list of job vacancies on the Riot web that referred to Nintendo’s new console.
Quoted from Riot Games via Ubergizmo, Thursday (10/17/2019), the company opened vacancies for developers with experience developing cross-platform games , which include Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch.
Other Evidence of League of Legends Released on Switch
Furthermore, the company is also looking for software architects with job requirements including, experience and understanding with two or more game platforms.
The game platform includes Microsoft Windows OS (PC), iOS or Android (mobile), XB1, PS4, and Nintendo Switch (console).
Actually, it’s not too surprising if Riot Games released League of Legends: Wild Rift to Nintendo’s new console.
After all, the Nintendo Switch itself is quite popular among game developers rather than its predecessor console, Wii U.
Detailed information about the LoL on the Nintendo Switch is indeed still small, but the company scheduled the Wild Rift to be released in 2020.
