Xiaomi officially released its newest gaming monitor. This 27-inch monitor has a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. Through the XiaomiTV account on the Weibo social network, Xiaomi said that this monitor is also equipped with a number of increased specifications from the previous version.
For information, in October 2019, Xiaomi released two gaming monitors, each measuring 34 inches and 23.8 inches. One improvement is the screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and the claimed response time reaches 1 ms. With this refresh rate , the image output will appear to move more smoothly than the standard screen with a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
The panel itself is IPS type. This monitor has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a DCI-P3 color gamut which is claimed to reach 95 percent. The screen is also equipped with TUV blue light certification to protect the eyes from excessive light.
There are also several other supporting features such as DisplayHDR 400 which is said to be able to improve the quality of the displayed image, as well as the Adaptive-Sync feature.
Although not mentioned, this Adaptive-Sync feature might be similar to Radeon Freesync or Nvidia G-Sync in a number of current gaming monitors. These features can boost the monitor’s performance to display smoother images when playing games.
In China, this Xiaomi gaming monitor will be sold at 2,199 yuan. Summarized from Gizmochina, Wednesday (06/17/2020), in addition to the 27-inch monitor, Xiaomi also reportedly still has two other gaming monitor products that will be introduced in 2020.
Both display devices are believed to be launched in September and November. One of them is a gaming monitor that supports 4K quality images.
